University of Oregon will be hosting us Friday, May 13, 2011, for our spring meeting. We will meet in 111 Alder. The building is on the southeast corner of 15th and Alder. If you haven’t registered for the 2011 Oregon Information Literacy Summit, don’t miss out.
ILAGO would especially like to encourage you to consider workgroup number 3, which will be geared toward instructional faculty.
IL in the Desert: Information Literacy instruction without a Librarian
In this workgroup participants will learn activities, assignments, and techniques for teaching IL outcomes without (or with limited access to) a librarian. Participants will discuss providing instruction in traditional, online, and hybrid environments. A culmination of the morning’s findings will be presented in the afternoon. Facilitated by Theresa Yancey and Jaime Zinck.

The Meeting will be held in the Memorial Union, American Indian Room 211. Breakfast will be available by 8:15, with the meeting beginning at 8:30.
